How did we come up with our name “Les jeux d’anches”?

The inspiration came from François Couperin’s “Fugue sur les jeux d’anches,” originally composed for the pipe organ. By arranging this piece for modern reed instruments, we highlights our innovative approach and the joy of creativity. Just like the layered structure of a fugue, our productions always evoke a rational aesthetic. The overlapping and fading of voices echo those visual effects in concert venues, providing the audience with a rich sensory experience.
