Founded in 2024, Quintette les jeux d’anches is a reed quintet formed by five Taiwanese musicians active across Europe and Asia.

With their distinctive sound, the ensemble explores both classical and contemporary musical languages through arrangements, original compositions, and cross-media collaborations, continually expanding the boundaries of chamber music. The name les jeux d’anches (“the play of reeds”) symbolizes our musicians’ passion for the diverse timbres of reed instruments and their shared spirit of sonic experimentation.

The ensemble is devoted to uncovering the wide-ranging potential of the reed quintet. Their repertoire features original works, innovative arrangements, and cross-cultural collaborative projects that highlight the versatility and expressive power of this unique instrumentation.
